This is the original entire negative taken for the Charisma Records, Life Before Death album cover. A collection of his sonnets set to music. There is an account Hag wrote on that page of the making of this sleeve including the photographic session taken at R D Laings house for the book ‘Memories of R D Laing Creative Destroyer’. Edited by Bob Mullan Published by Cassell 1997.
‘Death stares us in the face every morning. What we leave behind is for others to pick over, evaluate and use. R. D. Laing died of a heart attack while playing tennis in St Tropez in 1989.’ (from Hags book ‘How Things Are’)
