The portrait is of Derek Noy who at the time had a  band called ‘Noys Band’. It was due for release entitled  ‘Strange Terrain’ in the 1980’s. This did not happen. It was finally released in 2010  under the band name of Jan Dukes De Grey the name of Derek Noys original Prog Rock band which had been popular in the late 60’s and has since developed a cult following.

Hag made an earlier picture in 1974 where he also used this idea. The lane down to Eccup Reservoir Leeds UK is near to where he lived from the ages of 11 to 19.
