This structure in Brighton bearing the graffiti was destroyed in the 1987 storm shortly after I took the above picture. It was subsequently re-built and somebody returned, I now know not the original graffiti artist, and wrote, “I still feal [sic] normal”.

The below photographs were taken in 1988 on a dull day.
On the right of the above picture is the Brighton Grand Hotel where on the 12 October 1984 at 2:54 am (BST) the IRA detonated a bomb. Margaret Thatcher narrowly escaped the blast and five people were killed and many more injured during the UK Conservative Party’s annual conference.
