Personal Portrait
The stands etc were there to support the white background for later masking purposes when making a composite image. I have not yet made that picture. This picture is now in the National Portrait Gallery from an edition I printed in 2010. I prefer the element as shot though I gave them no aesthetic consideration at the time. This is also true for the R D Laing portrait also in the National Portrait Gallery.
