‘Crabs live in sand, it’s mostly wet. We crawled out of the sea, and needed cushions to sit comfortably upon. Water supports us. We are sunk into the landscape in a very physical way; we are dissolved in it, and it’s just our heads that stick out in a state of awareness. We are mostly water: babies are 75%, men are 65% and women are 55%. Fatter people are less watery than lean folk. Does the moon turn our tides? It’s a pinch.’ (from Hags book ‘How Things Are’)
