The room location is at the very top of St Pancras Station Hotel London. Hag photographed the station shortly after it was saved from demolition in the 1960’s. The exit up the ladder led to the single-span iron and glass roof designed by engineer William Henry Barlow and was the largest single-span roof in the world when completed in 1868. [3]
